We are pleased to announce the release of CarBall Version 2.6, an original UT2004 mod. CarBall is multiplayer soccer with cars. Imagine Mario Kart mixed with Fifa, multiplied by Wipeout XL. Simple to learn, but difficult to master, CarBall is both addictive and fun.
CarBall is unique in that the game's focus is driving, teamwork and fun with physics. The FOUR custom vehicles are capable of flipping, jumping and other acrobatics, and can use various power-ups to take scoring to the next level.
PDXLAN said that "If you are looking for a great addition to any LAN party or tournament, Carball is not only fun to play, CarBall is visually stunning and a blast to watch for your spectators." (PDXLAN featured CarBall at their signature event in 2005) Gamespy stated that Carball was "...proving that there's no limit to the things that could come out of the mod community."
CarBall was a finalist in the Make Something Unreal Contest, and the development team continues to push it further with more custom content and improved gameplay to meet the needs of its growing user base.
